As exam week comes closer, smart study strategies are more important than ever. The Pace library is always a great study spot option, but a change of scenery can definitely make a difference in efficient studying. Here are some of the best study spots around Atlanta.
Foxtail Coffee Co.
Foxtail Coffee Co. recently opened a location in the Buckhead area near Lenox mall. It provides a friendly working environment with indoor and outdoor seating with access to outlets. To fuel your brain, they offer a variety of drinks and foods. They serve basic coffee orders along with speciality drinks, assorted teas and many different unique flavorings. To go with your drink order, they sell delicious pastries along with bagels, sandwiches, and more. You really can’t go wrong with any of the food. Besides the perfect study environment, the coffeehouse is open from 6 am to 9 everyday of the week which is great in comparison to most coffee shops that close around 4 pm.
Dancing Goats
Dancing Goats meets anyone’s study needs with great food, drinks, a welcoming atmosphere and space. There are multiple locations in Atlanta, including ones in Buckhead, Decatur, Midtown and Ponce City Market. These locations offer friendly and a little more lively atmospheres rather than a quiet library. Their locations are open until 7 pm, but it is usually pretty crowded in the mornings on the weekends. Their coffee is some of the best in Atlanta, but don’t forget to grab a pastry to go with it.
Brash
Brash Coffee Roasters is a well known cafe with multiple locations across Atlanta. There is a Brash location within the Atlanta History Center which is open from 7am-4pm on weekdays and from 8am-4pm on weekends. They primarily serve coffee or matcha drinks, but it is right next to Souper Jenny which has delicious soups, salads and sandwiches. There is a lot of indoor seating with an assortment of sofas, desk chairs and barstools. This study really offers everything you could want whether you need a focused atmosphere or a place to study with friends.
Barnes & Noble Café
This Barnes & Noble isn’t your typical Barnes & Noble because it has a special Starbucks within it. The Cumberland location is perfect for studying because of the quiet working environment and energy. The Starbucks serves all of the normal Starbucks drink menu items, but they have a much better selection of food options. Some Café specialty foods are cheesecake, focaccia sandwiches, cakes and more. There is also free wifi and many outlets to stay charged up until closing time at 8 pm or 9 pm, depending on the day.
