There is no debate as to what is the best holiday movie of all time. It is unequivocally “The Grinch.” When I think of a holiday movie I immediately think of “The Grinch.” I do not think of “Home Alone” or “Elf.” “The Grinch” is one of the most famous cartoon movies ever. It is a heartwarming story about a grinch who stole Christmas, but then feels love and happiness again and is transformed.

“The Grinch” has amazing characters. My favorite character is Max, Grinch’s loyal and adorable puppy, who dresses up as a reindeer in the film. The Grinch is a funny character whose mood makes the whole movie enjoyable. There are also lovable characters like Cindy Lou Hoo and many others.

The Grinch hates Christmas because when he was a child he had no one to celebrate with, and he had no presents to open. So, because of this, he hates Christmas and he hates everyone who enjoys the holiday. We got this insight into the Grinch’s life in the new Grinch movie that came out in 2018. This movie was still animated and was a longer version of the original, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” in 2000. I personally enjoy Dr Seuss’ Grinch much more than the old one.

“Home Alone” cannot possibly be the best Christmas movie. The movie is so far-fetched and impossible to believe. Two robbers could not possibly fall for so many simple tricks. One of the robbers ran screaming out of the room because of TV gunfire, and they thought it was real.

“Elf” is definitely not the best Christmas movie because of its ridiculous plot. First, there is no way one of Santa’s elves could ever escape the North Pole. Second, everyone knows that elves are not human. There is no way Santa Claus decided to adopt a child on the busiest day of the year, while he is handing out presents to boys and girls across the world.

“The Grinch” is the best Christmas movie of all time. When people think about Christmas and tradition, they think about watching “The Grinch.”
