While some of our favorite actors have great plastic surgeons, they aren’t as young as they appear to be. Anne Hathaway is 43 years old, Hilary Duff is 38, Ryan Gosling is 45 and Adam Driver is 42. This is not to say that is impacting their career at all. In fact, Anne Hathaway has starred in five movies since the beginning of 2026 and all while pregnant. A new generation of stars is on the rise.
Since its release in November 2025, there is one television series that has been the talk of the town. Every major news publication has written about it, all your favorite actors rave about it. The show is of course, “Heated Rivalry.” The hockey show is based off of two main characters portrayed by actors Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams. Previous to the show, the actors had only been in a handful of small indie projects. The most notable character Storrie had played before the series was an unnamed patient in “Joker Folie à Deux,” a film with a low rating of 31 percent on rotten tomatoes. Before the show aired, Williams had approximately 10,000 followers on Instagram as of September 2026, but he now has 4.6 million followers. His co-star, Storrie had the same number of followers and has since gained 4.4 million followers. The stars, once unknown struggling actors, now have paparazzi following them wherever they go. Storrie has since signed on to two projects with the studio A24, acting with movie stars such as Laura Dern, Dua Lipa, Molly Gordon and Gracie Abrams. He also signed partnerships with global luxury brands such as Saint Laurent and Tiffany and Co. Like Storrie, William’s career is skyrocketing with two major films coming out within the next few years with costars such as Dylan O’Brien, Charlize Theron and Demi Moore.
With only a small budget of $750,000, “Obsession” hit the theaters and made a splash. The movie grossed over $519 million dollars worldwide with Focus Features pushing the movie for 15 Oscar nominations. Along with its commercial success, actress Inde Navarette has risen to fame. After an 18 month drought of not booking any roles, Inde has signed on to play Rouge in the highly anticipated “X-Men.”
As if one hockey show wasn’t enough, Elle Kennedy’s “Off Campus” series was adapted by Prime Video and released on May 13th. The protagonists of season one, Garrett Graham and Hannah Wells portrayed by Ella Bright and Belmont Camel, are among the newest Gen-Z A-listers. The show proved to be incredibly successful and popular. The stars have since made appearances at the VMA’s and on songs with artists such as Niall Horan and Suki Waterhouse. The second season has already begun filming and is set to release in May of 2027.
