Amorino Gelato is a great place to try if you’re looking for authentic Italian desserts. They serve Italian-style coffee, pastries, and delicious gelato. The gelato and the macarons at Amorino Gelato achieved the highest rating on the taste scale. Amorino Gelato also has a wide variety of flavors, including plenty of vegan options, earning it a four out of five for variety. The servers craft the gelato into a beautiful rose-shape for the customers to enjoy, so Amorino’s presentation achieved the highest rating as well. Amorino Gelato is located in the middle of Lenox Mall, which presents both a challenge and opportunity. Some find the location bothersome due to all the shoppers surrounding Amorino’s seating area, which is why the atmosphere is rated a one out of five. Although, if you want some refreshing gelato while you shop at Lenox, the location of Amorino Gelato is perfect.

Located walking distance from Piedmont Park, Three Peaches Gelato offers a completely vegan assortment of ice cream flavors. They have around 6 flavors with around 3 of them being dairy free. While Piedmont Park adds some traffic to the area the parking is not a problem as it has a decent sized parking lot. Three Peaches offers drinks, such as coffee and tea, as well as pastries. The store is spacious with plenty of seating options. While there is nothing necessarily special about Three Peaches Gelato and the ice cream it offers, it is certainly a good option if you are looking for a refreshing treat this summer.

Vanilla Cafe is centered just on the outskirts of Roswell, Georgia. The shop feels like a little Italian cafe, even though it is a suburban shopping center. They offer around 18 flavors, with about 6 being vegan. The flavors range from everyday chocolate to Tiramisu and Brigadeiro Fudge Swirl. They also have a selection of cookies, pastries, and drinks. Everything about Vanilla Cafe E Gelato is easy and super delicious, in my opinion, this spot it definitely worth a visit.
Big Softie
Atmosphere – 4/5
Variety – 3.5/5
Taste – 5/5
Presentation – 3/5
Cost = $7.00

If you’re over by Virginia Highlands and craving soft-serve, Big Softie is the place to go. The little shop is located slightly south of Virginia Highlands, and it’s just that: little. The inside has minimal space, and the shop does not provide seating. Additionally, parking at Big Softie is a challenge. There is a small parking lot right outside the shop, but it only has a few spaces, and the street parking is often difficult due to the business of the area. However, the atmosphere inside Big Softie achieved a high rating of four due to the delightful decorations inside and the overall aesthetic of the shop. The basic presentation of the ice cream itself deserved a three out of five, but this rating is subject to change if Big Softie’s adorable sprinkle toppings are added. The ice cream’s taste ranked five on the rating scale, a truly refreshing and delicious treat, and in our opinion, is worth the seven dollars. Big Softie has a decent variety of ice cream flavors, including vegan options, and a wonderful variety of toppings, earning it a three out of five rating.

If you want that traditional ice cream shop experience, Bubble Cream in Tucker is a great option. They have a wide variety of flavors, from Pistato and Cherry Vanilla to Triple Chocolate Brownie and Red Velvet. Bubble Cream also offers multiple sherbet flavors, Boba, coffee, ice cream cakes, milkshakes, and lots and lots of toppings, earning an overall four out of five in the Variety category. As for the ice cream itself, we tried a scoop of Chocolate. There was nothing inherently “good” or “bad” about the ice cream; it was your basic scoop of Chocolate, though one critique is that it was a bit icy for our tastes. We rated the ice cream a three out of five. Similarly, the presentation was your generic couple of scoops in a cup or cone, so once again, we rated it a three. Finally, the atmosphere at Bubble Cream was our least favorite out of all the shops we visited. It was a little dated and bland, at least compared to the others, earning a two out of five. Though the inside was not our favorite, they did offer plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and lots of easy access parking.
