Formula 1 (F1) is a very dangerous sport that only very talented people can participate in. F1 is a racing sport where 20 drivers race around a track from 50-70 laps. There are 10 teams with 2 drivers in each team. There are tracks all over the world from Monaco to Texas.

In F1, there are many tracks that originate all over the world. There are 76 tracks overall, but only 23 in a season. In the 2023 season they are traveling to Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Miami, Monaco, Spain, Canada, Austria, Britain, Hungary, Belgian, Dutch, Italian, Singapore, Japanese, Qatar, Texas, Mexico, Brazil, Las Vegas, and Abu Dhabi. Some of the races do get canceled occasionally just like any other sport.

When you are watching people play this sport, you notice how they are either very cautious or very dangerous. When they are cautious it keeps them safer but they will most likely not place high, but if they are dangerous they will place higher, but have a higher chance of getting into a crash. They are going at such a fast speed that if they crash they are most likely going to be injured very badly.

There are 20 racers in the 2023 season. The racers are Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, Lewis Hamilton, George Russel, Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly, Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Valtteri Bottas, Zhou Guanyu, Lance Stroll, Fernando Alonso, Kevin Magnussen, Nico Hulkenburg, Yuki Tsunoda, Nyck de Vries, Alex Albon, and Logan Sargent. There are even more drivers when you actually think about it because you need backup drivers just in case anything goes wrong.

F1 is very interesting and fun to keep track of and watch. Every Sunday is the day of the actual race, but there are pre-races (called the grand-prix) that determine every driver’s spot for the Sunday race. When watching F1 it can be very confusing if you look away for just a second. Someone could crash, or get out of the race, or even something will happen that blows up on the internet. Some races are more safe and boring, but the best ones involve the most action. If you haven’t had a chance to watch an F1 race, check it out!
