We all know what the Stanley is, but how did it become so popular? While the cups are functional, “fit in your cup holder” (they don’t), they have straw lids, they keep drinks hot or cold for 11 hours, and the tumblers also have handles so they are easy to hold. But many other tumblers do the same thing, and are much cheaper. The classic 40 oz Stanley is 50$, the 30 oz is 35$-40$, and the small tumblers without a handle ranges from 20$- 35$.
Today’s Parent says the Simple Modern Tumbler is the best tumbler with a straw because it is dishwasher safe, leak proof except for the straw, cup holder friendly, keeps drinks cold for 24 hours, and vacuum insulated. I have not tried this cup but from the reviews it seems just as great as the Stanley.

We decided to interview a few people about the Stanley.
Lily: What do you think about the design of the classic Stanley cup?
Isabella: The Stanley has great design. It is super good and I love how it fits in my cup holder but still holds so much water.
Lily: How many Stanleys do you have?
Isabella:I have three Stanley Cups.
Lily: When did you get a Stanley
Isabella: I got a Stanley in May of 2023.
Lily: How do you feel about the straw?
Isabella: I like the straw a lot, but it often spills.
Lily: Whats the best and worst thing about the cup?
Isabella: The best thing is its aesthetic ability,and all the nice colors. The worst thing is that it spills a lot because of the straw.
Lily: What do you think about the design of the classic Stanley cup?
Dr: Boehner: I love it because it keeps my drink cold and it has an environmentally friendly straw.
Lily: How many Stanleys do you have?
Dr: Boehner: 1
Lily: When did you get a Stanley
Dr: Boehner: About 6 months ago? I have no idea. At first I thought it was just another fad water bottle and I didn’t get why everyone was so excited about it. It also seemed too big to carry around but people said it made them drink more water.
Lily: How do you feel about the straw?
Dr: Boehner:I actually do drink more water and less tea which is a good thing.
Lily: Whats the best and worst thing about the cup?
Dr: Boehner: best: I drink more water. Cons: it is pretty big to carry around and harder to put in the dishwasher so I have to hand wash it every night.

Hailey: i really like the design
