Hello Middle Schoolers! I’m back with another sports article for you! This time it’s Volleyball! Ever since Volleyball was opened to the seventh and eighth graders here at Pace it has been a big hit. I know many new players that have loved the experience this year. But sadly, the season is coming to an end, along with many other sports this fall. I decided to interview Eliza Smith who was happy to talk about her experience on the team. Here’s the scoop on volleyball this year:
“Overall, how was your Pace Volleyball experience?” – Harper
“Over this season the whole team has learned so much about volleyball and we all have had so much fun everyday while practicing! We were undefeated and every game was so much fun!” – Eliza
“What was your favorite part of being on the team this year?” – Harper
“Always playing the sport together, there isn’t one time where everyone isn’t included in a game. It’s a team sport that everyone gets to play a part. I got to play in the middle, and I loved it!” – Eliza
“How did you guys work as a team to achieve so many wins?” – Harper
“We always passed and used teamwork 24/7 and we weren’t scared to get the ball” – Eliza
