Are you sick of warming up the same frozen waffles every morning? With this easy recipe any middle schooler can make, you’ll be motivated to wake up just for breakfast!
Quantity = 5-8 waffles
Needed Materials
- Mixing Bowl
- Flipper (baking spatula) *optional
- Electric or Hand Mixer
- Waffle Iron
- Measuring Spoons and cups
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 ¾ cups milk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon vanilla bean paste (vanilla extract will work too)
Instructions
Add in all ingredients in mixing bowl
Mix with a mixer until the mixture is smooth and a batter like consistency
Refrigerate excess batter for more waffles later on
Pour the batter onto the center of the waffle iron (the amount depends on how big your waffle iron is. Don’t pour the batter to the edge because it will spread out when you close the iron).
Tips
-Crack eggs into smaller bowl so it’s easier to remove pieces of eggshells that have fallen
-When mixing, occasionally stop the electric mixer and use a flipper (baking spatula) to mix in ingredients stuck at the bottom or walls of the bowl
-Use a flipper (baking spatula) to smooth dry ingredients before adding them in
Enjoy your delicious breakfast treat!!
