Dear Granny Knight,

I want to try out for the Musical, but I’m worried that I won’t get in. I don’t want to embarrass myself and I’m worried and people will laugh at me. What if people make fun of me after it? Should I try out? All of my friends are! I don’t want to feel left out! I feel as if I’d faint onstage with all those people staring at me. What can I do to get rid of my stage fright?

Dear Petrified Performer,

Don’t worry! Granny Knight is here to save you from this musical mayhem. I think you should do whatever you want.

If you don’t want to do the musical, then don’t! You shouldn’t worry about what your friends think. If you do want to try out for the musical, then go for it! If you don’t make it in, don’t worry! There’s no way you’ll be the only one.

The best way to get over your fears is to try it! Just know that Granny Knight will be with you all the way. You will miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take.

Yours Truly,
