Today during our newspaper meeting, we got the opportunity to talk with Mr. Shupe’s mom about his childhood and his view on birthdays. Here are some facts you probably didn’t know about Mr. Shupe!
Hiruni and Lily: How have his birthdays in the past been?
Shupe’s Mom: He sees things differently. I loved that he told me that we should celebrate Mother on birthdays
Hiruni and Lily: How do you feel about Shupe’s birthday mentality?
Shupe’s mom: He is intelligent and I’m glad he loves what he does.
Hiruni and Lily: Tell us about your experiences of being a mother.
Shupe’s mom: Mr. Shupe wanted more kids- it did not work out. We moved every five years and Shupe did not get mad because she said it was always an adventure. Shupe always adapted well.
Hailey: What was the most embarrassing thing he did as a child?
Mom: I really can’t think of any!!! He never complained and even if someone else thought something he did was embarrassing he would not feel the same way!
