Since its premiere with the first three episodes on February 12, the series has gained a massive following, and people are obsessed with the iconic 90\u2019s couple. It has influenced pop culture massively, through the songs people are listening to, the minimalistic fashion of the 90\u2019s and even the way people are living today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The show features several 90s hit songs from artists like Lenny Kravitz (It Ain\u2019t Over Till It\u2019s Over), <\/em>Duran Duran (Come Undone), <\/em>the Goo Goo Dolls (Name) <\/em>and many more. These songs have resurfaced due to the popularity of the show, and are now being listened to on a large scale. The soundtrack of Love Story<\/em> has touched a new generation and the songs are used in posts, reels and TikToks made by people from all over the world. A key part of her looks were her iconic headbands, hairclips and sunglasses, so people are striving to get those accessories to achieve Carolyn\u2019s aesthetic or presence. People have identified the shops where she got her accessories, and since the show\u2019s growth in popularity, those shops have been crowded by hundreds of people a day. C.O. Bigelow, the pharmacy CBK shopped at in New York City has exploded, and so has Selima Optique, which sells the sunglasses she wore. The sunglasses are now called \u201cThe Carolyn,\u201d after her. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/em>Love Story <\/em>has brought \u201c90s charm\u201d back to the screen, and has caused nostalgia among viewers of all ages. After watching the series and being so heavily influenced by the music, fashion and overall vibe of the 90s, viewers are starting to crave living in that era. People are longing for a simpler life, less constant media, more real connection. There is a new trend called \u201cGoing 90s,\u201d where people go out either by themselves or with friends and leave their phones at home. This way, they are no longer distracted by the notifications and constant stimulation we get from our phones, and are more focused on the present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the show\u2019s ending and massive success, fans are coming up with ideas on what love story FX will examine next. Some suggestions have been Brad Pitt and Jenifer Aniston, Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, etc\u2026 However, if Love Story <\/em>is revived for a season 2 or more, will it be as much of a cultural phenomenon as the relationship between JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
