SKITS

PUPPET SHOWS about HEALTH in FRENCH C HONORS

French C Honors students performed 3 skits they had written for their doctor, nurse, and patient/parent sock puppet creations.  We had a lot of fun watching and we even had Ms. Norton and Mr. Anderson stop by to watch.

Rehearsal time!

French C Honors 8th graders rehearse for tomorrow’s health and sickness puppet show.  Our sock puppets are nutty nurses, crazy doctors, concerned parents, and French speaking children with broken limbs…among other issues….stay tuned for the shows!

First skits in French A

The first “real” day of class for French A (6th grade).  We had had a few short classes of 15 minutes already and today we are putting in practice some of our French greetings.

La vie quotidienne de Cendrillon

Honors French C has been working on reflexive verbs along with the vocabulary for household chores.  We created presentations retelling the story of Cinderella/Cendrillon on the PhotoPeach Website.

We watch a feuilleton that goes with our text (T’es Branché) in class.  Here are some short memorized conversations from the show.

Espion Secret

Screen Shot 2014-11-23 at 4.03.00 PMFrench B students presented themselves as an imaginary ESPION (spy) they had created as a review activity.  They practiced adjectives, describing the character traits and physical traits of their undercover persona along with things like where they live and languages they speak along with what they do in their job everyday, things they are going to do as a spy and things they “just did”.

After several days writing scripts, learning lines, and rehearsing, French C Honors students presented Bistro skits today in class. They were all very creative, dramatic, and well rehearsed! Bravo!
