Au fitness

French C Honors students have been learning about health and body parts.  We are lucky enough to have a PE teacher and physical trainer who hails from France, so we headed to the weight room for a workout en français.  Merci Clément!

Speed Dating

French B students practiced new vocabulary about shopping for clothing and recycled old vocab with an activity we call “speed dating”. Students spend 1-2 minutes facing a partner before moving to another desk, in a circular pattern.  On each desk they find a card that matches the card their partner has, giving them a task to accomplish through negotiation with their partner and practice. The next day, students were quizzed on one of the card sets, chosen at random.
