Chasse au Trésor

French C students have been practicing asking for and giving directions this week.  After splitting them into groups and sending them on a treasure hunt as an example, I asked them to imagine where they could hide a treasure in our school and then write directions for finding it.  Students brought in their “trésor”, hid it, and then exchanged their set of directions for another group’s set.   It took between 5-10 minutes for groups to come back, treasure in hand.  We enjoyed some treats while working with a partner on a project about superlative adjectives.
