French A students reviewed the French alphabet and accent marks today, rotating through 6 different stations.  Given 2 or 3 letters/accents and a 30 second timer, they had to draw, sculpt or create the letters on their desks.

Stations: Draw in rice, White Boards, Ribbons, Pipe cleaners, Shaving Cream, and Clay

Cambia Mis Estrellas — Puerto Plata, DR 2013

DSCN7619 DSCN7644 DSCN7647 DSCN7651  A few photos from Cambia Mis Estrellas Summer Camp 2013.  This is a program organized by Project Esperanza that teaches English and other skills to impoverished children of Haïtian heritage living in the Dominican Republic.  I worked here for two weeks this year and last year.  Pace donated some soccer uniforms to their team this year and my husband sent camp tshirts!

The National French Contest/Le Grand Concours is an annual competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French.

Students  of French in grades 1-12, in all 50 states and abroad, take a written test and compete against students with similar educational background for prizes.
